Logistics

The group will meet at least once a month at a location that satisfies the needs of the chosen activity.

(At this point we are considering setting regular dates each month or allowing unique dates to be chosen.)

Communication of location and activity will happen via email AND text. This is all free, though you may be asked to voluntary contribute if certain facilities are needed.

Men can join or leave Eutrapelia Men’s Group as they wish. This is an honorable association, so there will be no attendance taken. Direct men who want to hear about the events to sign up at eutrapeliagr.com. Some activities will be more appealing than others, though participating in something you may not be attracted to can be the greatest experience!!

We would like to always be able to make room for late joiners.

Prayer

Each Activity will start with the litany of humility prayed aloud:

O Jesus, meek and humble of heart,
Hear me.
From the desire of being esteemed,
Deliver me, O Jesus.
From the desire of being loved,
Deliver me, O Jesus.
From the desire of being extolled, etc.
From the desire of being honored,
From the desire of being praised,
From the desire of being preferred to others,
From the desire of being consulted,
From the desire of being approved,
From the fear of being humiliated,
From the fear of being despised,
From the fear of suffering rebukes,
From the fear of being calumniated,
From the fear of being forgotten,
From the fear of being ridiculed,
From the fear of being wronged,
From the fear of being suspected,

That others may be loved more than I,
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That others may be esteemed more than I,
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.
That, in the opinion of the world, others may increase
and I may decrease, etc.
That others may be chosen and I set aside,
That others may be praised and I go unnoticed,
That others may be preferred to me in everything,
That others may become holier than I,
provided that I may become as holy as I should.
